For B.Sc.(Engr.) in Computer Science and Engineering program, the entry level is a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), A level or Alim with science background or a 3 year Diploma in Engineering or any other equivalent level of education recognized by the competent authority and also fulfilling any other conditions fixed by the authority.

It is to mention that the students who have completed three/four year Diploma Engineering in Computer Technology/Electronics under Bangladesh Technical Education Board are considered to have course waiver facility depending on the courses they have already completed in Diploma level.

For B.Sc.(Hons) in Computer Science, the entry level is a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or A level or Alim with Mathematics. However, students passing HSC from Humanities and Commerce group may also apply for this program provided they complete courses equivalent to 6 credit hours in Mathematics before they start their regular courses at AUB and also any other conditions fixed by the authority.
